Eden Foundation


Eden has been running a project since 1987 in one of the poorest countries in the world, Niger.

The area where Eden is working is one of the driest places on earth. Here you will find 300,000 people struggling to survive.

But Eden helps the farmers to grow trees and bushes (to eat or/and sell). The farmers are given seeds for free!!

Save the Children


Founded already 1932 as a nonprofits organisation. They work in 49 countries in the developing world to help children and families to improve their life. Save the Children is part of the international Save the Children who operates in over 100 countries. See what you can do to help on their website.

 


 

Medecins sans frontier


An organisation who is well known all over the world. MSF has been setting up emergency medical aid missions since 1971. They have been awarded the Nobel peace price.

You can follow the work of the 2500 volunteers on their website or why not join them?


 


SOS-Kinderdorf International


A wonderful thing YOU can do is to sponsor a child in a SOS village. You will have a personal contact and for a small amount of money you will see "your" child grow up.

In 131 countries around the world you will find a SOS villages. In every village SOS offers a safe and family enviroment to children who have lost their parent or no longer can live with them.

 


World Food Project


Since 1963 the WFP has been the UN frontline in the fight against hunger in the developing world.

Only in 2002 WFP fed over 72 million people in 82 countries. You can help out by donating direct to WFP. A donation of $34 will feed a hungry student for one school year.

Mgbala Agwa Youths Forum


is a grassroots non-partisan, non-profit organisation operating in Imo state of Nigeria.

Their main focus is on HIV/AIDS and they are aiming to create awareness and educate young people. They opened a library in 2002 with the  help from donators from all over the world.

They are now focused on extending the library with a research centre.

The Mgbala Awgwa is a UN Net aid partner and one of their volunteer won the 2002 Online Volunteers Award 2002 for her engagement.
 


 

Childhood


Childhood identifies, reviews and supports existing projects. The mission is to defend the rights to a secure childhood. You will find projects in countries like Brazil, Estonia, Tanzania, Ecuador and many more.
